Rob slipped his hands from his pockets, standing up straight and eying Lien up. He didn't answer, but the way he parted his legs to stand comfortably suggested he'd accepted her challenge. A very small grin took his lips, before green rays, almost like a strange substance of fire littered with black spots wriggling and writhing burst from his hands. Thrusting his hands in almost a sideways throwing motion, he threw them at Lien, the ground where she stood, her base, to the sides- His throwing was relentless. Where the plasma balls landed on the ground, the marble would crack, shattering and exploding into shards and chunks that threatened to hit Lien, or by-standers.

Lien watched intently as Rob produced what looked like green flames tinged with black, her mind screamed firebender but it wasn't like any firebending she'd ever seen, then Rob flung them at her. Lien didn't react fast enough and when they hit the marble around her feet, she fell, she flung an arm out to break her fall and rolled onto her feet again. All traces of playfulness was gone, she needed to focus. She whipped the water out at Rob, hoping to catch his feet while the other arm whipped water at his torso.

Rob was ready for her to retaliate. He'd calculated enough from her said bending powers to assume this was to happen, but he was quick. He pushed off the ground, swiftly tucking from the water to close to distance between himself and Lien. Hand still coated with flaming plasma balls, he used them something similar to boxing gloves, powers appearing to give him agile movement not of regular people.
He thrust a fist towards Lien's torso, threatening to hit her in the stomach, singe her clothing and send her flying back from the force. Rob was, it would appear, a lot like his mother in fighting styles. Not that she'd ever know that.

Lien gripped Rob's wrist with her water-covered hands and froze it in place, fighting at a distance was easy, fighting hand-to-hand was more difficult, due to the fact she couldn't move her arms as freely without the threat of injury. Lien backed up, attempting to put some distance between herself and Rob. She pulled more water from the fountian, she formed a ring around herself with eight long tenticles, making it appear as if she were at the centre of a watery octopus. She highly doubted Rob could get close enough to strike her.

After a small shudder, the frozen water shattered, green plasma exploding from his hands and sending blinding rays for a split second, before dieing down to their regular size, writhing around his hands. He watched her, almost annoyed looking as he clenched his teeth together, watching the wander form. She was just gathering strength from that water fountain... It looked about time to experiment...
He shot plasma, straight from his hand and hurled it at a couple of the water tentacles. They sizzled and evaporated, but for how long...? She was likely to rebuild it.. He furrowed his brow, and eventually decided to hurl a few straight at her, each shot followed closely by another. She didn't seem to like close combat... but he'd have to get her away from the fountain, and fighting in closer quarters.
((ooc: I assume they'd evaporate... but you're welcome to have them rebuilt again... realistically. lol ))

Lien grit her teeth as Rob evapourated two of her tenticles, she repaired them without much bother, Rob seemed to be testing her strength, assessing what she could do. He apparently like to fight close combat rather than long range like herself, he also could produce his strange flames like any normal firebender could, she couldn't do much about that, it wasn't like she could summon a solar eclipse at will.
Lien whipped out three tenticles at Rob, two to absorb the incoming plasma and one, if it hit him they would freeze, trapping him under layers of ice.

((I have NO idea what Kaya would be doing in the midst of all this so she's just going to the worrying motherly girl she is, After this post I'll wait 'til you guys finish up so i don't clutter up the thread ^^"))
It happened relatively fast. Rob came over, Lien challenged him to a sparring match, and all the sudden they were going after each other. Kaya, being the worrier she was, never took her eyes off of either Rob or Lien, following every move each of them made like a hawk. She wanted so badly to butt in, but if Lien was anything like Kaya, and Kaya was willing to bet she was, she would want to do it on her own. Still, Kaya was worried for her sister's safety. Rob didn't look like he was olding back, and neither did Lien for that matter.
She bit her nails nervously, hoping that it would end with as little injury as possible.

Rob pushed himself from the ground where the first pillar of water splashed down, landing to the right, before leaping back to the left when the second came. The third tentacle, though he saw coming, was a little more tricky. He didn't quite have the re-bound still so it landed, creating a wall of ice. From the outside, all was quite for a moment, before a vibrant green began to throb in the iced over tentacle.
Rob erupted from the ice closest to Lien, ice shattering and showering those present with cold shavings resembling clumpy snow. Having broke through so close, Rob had launched himself, engulfed by a green plasma blur, at Lien. Yet instead of landing in front of her, Rob went straight for her torso- He'd tackle her, sending her and him both tumbling to the ground.

Lien didn't block Rob in time and he tackled her to the ground. The plasma singed her tunic and burnt through it, burning the skin beneath. Lien grit her teeth as they both crashed to the ground, Rob ending up on top of her.
Lien glared up at Rob, she couldn't move her arms to pull more water and she wasn't about to use bloodbending on him. She wasn't that desperate to win.

They slid a little to the ground, though Rob's glowing ability had faded with small sound to emphasis. He straightened up a little, looking down at Lien who he was currently on top up, before rolling to the side, a very faint pinkness in his cheeks that was only noticeable upon further inspection. Pushing himself up and giving a short brush down, he put a hand out for Lien. Wordless, and although he had a hard face with a frown, it was likely that it was the cause of that soft pink tinge in his cheeks that was slowly fading. However, he didn't utter a word.

Lien's cheeks were also tinged slightly pink. When Rob got up she inspected the damage to her tunic, a hole had been burnt in it so it exposed her stomach which sported a fairly minor burn, but it also stung.
Lien pulled some water from the fountain and pressed it to the burn, the water glowed for a second, a smile spread across her face when she felt the familiar soothing sensation of healing. When the water's glow faded, the burn had vanished as if it hadn't been there to start with.
"You fight good." Lien commented getting to her feet "You sure there's no firebender blood in your family?"

Rob shrugged, "A half dragon and a former-hero." he shrugged. "Got my powers from mom... my sister got the dragon abilities..." he explained. Though he didn't go into detail on former hero. Nor how his mother obtained the powers. Rob seemed to be a very rare breed indeed, as he didn't obtain dragon powers, it was up for speculation whether he received the strength of one.
"Didn't know you could freeze it..." he commented, brushing some ice shaving from his shoulder. He sounded although he were accusing her- funny enough, as he hadn't even told her that he had any powers... Never directly anyways.

"Dragon?" Lien seemed almost puzzled by this. Dragons were huge, mostly extinct except for two, creatures...how could one possibly have a child with a human? "That's...unusual. Dragons in our world are almost extinct...thanks to Fire Lord Sozin." Liem growled out the name of her great great grandfather, he seemed to be the cause of nearly everything horrible. He started the hundred year war, hunted dragons to near extinction, invaded the Earth Kingdom and practically destroyed the Southern Water Tribe. She hated him with a passion.
A smirk crossed Lien's features when Rob commented on the ice "We can also create steam...bend your blood and there's a guy, in our world, that lives in a swamp that can bend the water inside plants."

((I though Zuko and Aang weren't allowed to tell anybody of the existence of the two remaining dragons....? Oh well, I'm just being picky XDD))
Needless to say Kaya was releived that nobody got too hurt during their training. Lien had to use her healing, but other than that she looked okay. "Guys... I think we did more damage to the town square than to eachother." She said half-joking.
At Lien's mention of the different types of waterbending she smiled a little. "Yeah, our mom's a mastered just about every waterbending form. Though I try not to use bloodbending so much. But what type of fighting was that? She asked, putting emphasis on "that". It wasn't something she'd seen in her world, and she grew up around a whole mess of firebenders.

((I've been dying to play her so i hope nobody minds me bringing her in XP))
Meanwhile, a scruffy looking, yet still pretty girl was also taking a walk. She was her usual optimistic self, and so she hadn't been worrying about how or when she'd get home. To her this was another adventure in her life. And Alishia never turned down a good adventure. However, as she rounded the corner her face fell. The town square looked like a war zone, puddles of water, the tile destroyed, and the only people standing there were 3 kids who looked not much older than her. Had they done all of this? "What on earth happened here she asked with wide eyes.
