[Swafi]

(Day 4. Swafi's just trying to find a niche for himself here...anyone's welcome.)

The past few days had been great, considering what had happened and that he still had NO idea where he was. But he'd stumbled upon this savannah, of all places, a savannah in the center of this huge and unfamiliar land. He'd thought he'd stumbled back into the Pridelands, but after searching for ages he came to the realization that it wasn't....it was just a savannah. An empty savannah with no other lions.
It was then that he stumbled upon a very small rock jutting out of the tall golden grasses. Something about its shape reminded him of Pride Rock...it had a very short, jutting point that was not unlike Pride Rock's promontory, and there was even a small cove inside the back of the rock that would protect him from the wind and rain. Excellent.
With this new discovery, the young Pridelands Prince began to see the silver lining to this cloud. So what if he wasn't home anymore...now he had this whole savannah, this den, and it was all his. And he was the sole ruler. Not his parents, not Athari, not Grandpa or Grandma, no-one. He was his own boss, and he was KING here. Truly king.
Right now he stood atop the rock's jutting makeshift promontory, looking out across the golden grasses, laughing proudly. Oh yes, this was gonna work out JUST fine...

[Elanna]

Elanna lay in the shade, her sapphire eyes focused on the ground a few feet away from her. She had wandered for days, leaving Flash back at the forest, to search for her missing brothers. She had no luck. What was worse was the spawn on Kiara was also here, he had spotted her but she had spotted him a couple of times.

Without her brothers...life was boring...empty. She missed Ghamu, he was the leader and alway made her feel safe, she missed Faraji and his jokes and Zimui because of his unfailing ability to annoy her yet make her feel better at the same time. Where were they? She didn't like being here alone.

[Swafi]

Hold on, wait just a second. Swafi ceased laughing, leering suspiciously out onto a point in the distance. Was that another....? Yes it was. Another creature DARED show its face on HIS land? He'd give them what for!! Swafi jumped down from his make-believe Pride Rock, stalking through the grass toward Elanna's tree. When he was halfway between here and there, he realized he recognized that face.
Oh great, it was that crazy cub that said she was Vitani's daughter. Swafi was getting tired of seeing her everywhere. Seemed like every time he turned around she was right there. It was getting old and she was DEFINATELY not allowed on his land!!!
"Hey you, what gives you the right to trespass here? Don't you know this is MY land?!" He growled when he was within hearing distance.

Jade watched the two figures from her shadows and slowly crept towards the group. However, this lion seemed to be a bit more cocky than the others. "What crawled up your butt and died honey?" she asked emerging from the spot. She glanced down at the land. "I don't see your name on this land, so how can it be yours?"

[Swafi]

"Because I SAID so, that's how!!" Swafi snapped, rounding on the kitten. "I've decided to make my home here, at least until I can find my way back to my REAL home, and until I do I've decided this piece of land is MINE. That means nobody can come on it without my say-so!! So go!!" He bared his teeth at her, hoping to frighten her away. "Go away! You're not part of my pride so get out!!"

Jade blinked confused. "Is that supposed to scare me?" she asked purring with amusement. "Cuz if it is, you aren't really don't a good job." she took a seat and brushed her paw against her fur. She gave a tiny nod at him. "You see my parents, or my dad rather told me that i have to be strong and show no fear to anyone,"

[Elanna]

Elanna lifted her head to look at Swafi, her sapphire eyes narrowed. It was him again. The evil Queen's son. His ego was as big as Priderock apparently. She rolled her eyes as he got into an argument with another cat.

"What makes you think this is your lands anyway. We've just as much right to be here as you do."

[jade]

Jade glanced at Elenna, she was starting to like this cat. She was not about to get all sweetie pie act on this jerk not if she could help it. He didn't deserve it. "As far as i can see, fuzzball, you are stuck with us."

[savannah]

"Hello wait I know the cubs ." The older lioness said with a smile " And the cat I don't ."

the teen lioness said with a exlaim she wanted to have friends here .

[Swafi]

(Savannah, your post makes no sense =/)

Swafi snorted. "Tch. Fine, you can pass through, but you're NOT allowed on MY rock!" At least THERE he could be king without everyone trying to screw it up for him. "You'll just have to find your OWN shelter because I'm NOT sharing!!" Geez, people here were selfish. Didn't they understand he'd claimed this territory for himself? That was how it worked for Dad. Dad scared off intruders and protected the pride and kept EVERYONE who didn't belong away. Why couldn't he do the same?

"Listen cub if you are a king you 'll need a queen but I am older to you ." Savannah

told him in a warm voice .

Jade glanced at the other lion. Seems like she was the only actual cat here. "So let me get this straight. This territory is ours but the rock is yours?" she asked with a smile. "Seems fair to me." she flexed her claws and slowly lowered herself to lay down. "You are quite the bossy one."

Savannah smiled in a warm way and licked her paw she didn't know what to do and

layied down on the grass .

[Elanna]

Elanna rolled her sapphire eyes at Swafi's obnoxious behaviour, where were they going to sleep? There weren't any other caves for miles! A smirk crossed her features and she looked to Swafi

"Since your such a mighty king does that mean your can hunt for yourself? Groom yourself? Take care of intruders that are stronger and older than you by yourself? Since your the king you should know how to do all of this without the help of a pride, yes?" Elanna asked sounding utterly innocent, as if she had only asked about the weather "Well, oh mighty king? Can you?"

[Swafi]

Elanna's logic made Swafi falter. For once he was at a loss for words, his mind racing furiously for an excuse, or a rebuttal. Anything. But she was right, he had to admit. A king was nothing without lionesses, and ....Elanna was a girl anyway right? "Uh...uh...I.... I COULD, I just...." He was embarrassed. How stupid could you get? "I uh....I can't hunt alone. I need um... I need girls to uh....bring down bigger game." He said finally. "But -I- can do the dirty work. You know....keeping the border safe, and beating up enemies."
