Julliette raised an eyebrow at the topic of conversation. "So.... what are you guys, like Aliens or something...?" She asked quizically. She'd fought magical creatures and trained to sleigh dragons but never aliens. She always figured them to be made up.
Her eyes were drawn to Nadia's solar surfer. Blue eyes slightly widened in amazement. "Whoa." She whispered to herself. "What's riding that thing like?" She asked curiously. A natural born boarder, She couldn't help being curious. It was almost a second nature to her and so, finding something like a solar surfer, which was a foreign concept to her, intruiged the huntsgirl.

Ashton couldn't help but chuckle a bit at Juliette's question. Him? Alien? His mom would probably die if Ash were an alien. "Well, I'm not an alien. Doubtful she is either." Ash said, turning his attention to Nadia's board. "The only thing we have close to this is a floating car. And that's not even on Earth."

Nadia shook her head. "No, complete human here. Mom was from earth, dad from Montressor. We get all kinds of aliens through there, but it's mostly a human population really."
When the conversation turned towards Nadia's board, her eyes seemed to light up. "It's wonderful." she replied, relishing the opportunity to talk about her favourite pasttime. "The speed... the wind through your hair... nothing compares to that. Nothing." she repeated whistfully.

One thing they had in common, their mother was from Earth. Space is beautiful, but it's no place to raise a family. was one quote from Ashton's grandpa repeated constantly by his mother when pestered about why they didn't live somewhere else. But the boy kept on topic with the board. "Seems like it'd be a fun thing to ride, or watch somebody ride. Too bad we probably can't fix it though." Ash said. Or grab his own motorcycle to fix it. That was another 'too bad' thing of this island.

"That sounds sick." She said, imagining what it would be like. She had always though skateboarding was the best feeling in the world, perhaps she had been wrong. However her smile deflated as the boy spoke. "He's right." She said with a sigh. "If you're from another planet more advanced than earth I doubt we could find the technology to fix it here. But if ya like that maybe you could get into skateboarding. I doubt it would compare, but I think it's about as close as you'll get." She said.

"Or if we find someplace to surf." Ashton commented. "Surfing or skating would probably be the best bet." Ah, something he enjoyed and could talk about. With girls even, he could never talk to them! The insults he'd be getting from Dani and his father now. Probably something about how surfing is horrible from them both.
