He was FURIOUS so nothing, not even the new creatures could deter him from his quarry. Geno's bump caused the deer to fall but he quickly got off of his feet. He was fighting Geno but arguing with Bramble.
"Yeah well my father may not be a prince but he's stronger and braver than your dad!" He howled, "And he wants me and my brother, unlike you forgotten one!" Chinook charged at Geno, head lowered.

Chi-Ann was scared out of her wits. She didn't know where she was supposed to be, why she was in this strange forest, anything. All she knew was that she wanted to go home. Back to Mama and Baba, and Honey, and Amaranth, and Bahmann and Hit-Kit. She continued across another branch, and being a cat, it was incredibly easy for her to hop across branches. Yet, the forest was beginning to bring out the other side of her. The adventurous and brave side, the side that would play pranks to annoy. A Cheshire-like grin came across her face at the sound of voices. Maybe she could trick them! Or maybe she could make friends with them. Tricking them sounded better in her head. She curled up on a lone hanging branch, observing the deer and the lion cubs and the dog and the... foxes? Foxes! She'd always wanted to be a fox! "Hi little kitten I am not a cub I am a full grown lioness my friend I see you want to go to your familiy Am I right ?" Savannah asked the kitten . |

Chi-Ann gasped at the sight of the one deer charging. How scary! She almost feared for the other fawn's safety.
But, it was so exhilirating. So exciting to watch. So, well, awesome! Another grin fit for a Cheshire cat crossed Chi's face. A silent purr of extreme contentment escaped her lips. This was what she was looking for!
"Go! Go!" she thought, her ears flicking back and forth in utter excitement. For a moment, she forgot her worries about getting back to her family.

"HEY!" Geno yelled. "Don't talk about my grandfather that way!" The fawn gritted his teeth and tried to dodge Chinnook's attack. Unfortunately, the older fawn was much quicker and Geno found his face buried into the ground. Spitting out mud, Geno quickly got up and swung his head around furiously. "Why you-you JERK!" Geno screamed a war cry and attempted to kick Chinook in the face with his hind legs. "Take that!"

Elanna shifted into a more defensive position when Swafi turned his attention to her. What if he was related to Queen Kiara? The lioness had tried to kill her, her mother and her brothers...what if Swafi had done something to Ghamu, Zimui and Faraji? Or worse, what if Upendi was around here somewhere? She hoped not but growing up in a war zone meant you could never really be certain. "Y-Yeah." she aid trying to keep her voice level and calm so she wouldn't betray the fear "My mother is Vitani. A-Are you related to Queen Kiara?" (sorry about taking so long to reply Elanna ;.  Swafi's eyes widened and his lips parted in surprise. So she knew Mother? Finally!! Someone with some freakin sense in their thick skulls!! "Yeah, that's my mom's name." He tilted his head. "You're....you're Vitani's daughter? How come I never saw you before? All I knew was that white furball loser Dayo and he's not around here..." (Dayo is Vitani's son in my fanverse. he'd probably be Elanna's half-brother if they existed in the same universe) |

Elanna didn't register the rest of what Swafi had said after he confirmed that Queen Kiara was his mother. Fearcoyrsed through Elanna's veins, she knew one thing for certain: Swafi was the enemy. He was dangerous! The son of the lioness who had tried to kill her mother, her brothers and herself on more than one occasion.
Elanna instantly unsheathed her claws and growled, barring her teeth for the other cub to see. He had to know where Ghamu, Zimui and Faraji were!
"What have you done to my brothers? Tell me!" she growled

Swafi lifted a paw as if he were pondering stepping backward, more puzzled than anything by the female's display of aggression. He stared at her with wide eyes; one fuzzy brow lifted in puzzlement. "What are you talking about? I didn't even know you had brothers." He frowned.
"If you mean Dayo, I didn't never do nothing to the stupid little pipsqueak. Aunt Tani wouldn't even let me PLAY rough with him."

"No! Ghamu, Zimui and Faraji! I know you did something to them! Is Upendi here too? I bet she is, you are all the same! Why can't you just leave my family alone!" Elanna was getting more aggregated by the minute "You're the reason Mom is always scared of us wandering off!"
Elanna knew this cub was going to be trouble, she could feel it! He was Queen Kiara's son and that meant he was evil and wouldn't hesitate to hurt her or her brothers. She needed to show him that she wasn't scared...that she would fight back.

"I don't know WHAT you're talking about. I don't even know who Ghamu, Zim...ooey and Fara...whatever are. I've never even HEARD of anybody with those names." Swafi's expression was skeptical. "I thought you said you were Tani's girl but now I'm not so sure. You act like you gotta couple screws loose somewhere up top."

"She has not." Some kind of inner fire blazed in Flash's eyes as she stepped defensively between the two lion cubs. If there was one thing Flash hated, it was anyone insulting or hurting her friends. "She IS Aunt Vitani's daughter, and those three are her brothers." She glared at Swafi, daring him to disagree again.
"Although I'm surprised to see any of the evil queen's spawn without your leader, Upendi." she added, somewhat heedless of the fact that Swafi might take offense of his own at her words.

"WHO is Upendi?!" Swafi shot back. "Geez!! Nothing either of you say is making any sense to me!! Now listen here and listen GOOD, Spots!! My mother is Queen Kiara, and my father is King Kovu, and I'M their oldest son and I'M going to be king one day in Kovu's place!!! I only have one brother and he's this stupid scraggly Scar wannabe named Athari. Nobody likes him. So there!! I've never HEARD of "Upendi", or "Ghamu" or .....whatever else you said. I DON'T KNOW ANYBODY BY THAT NAME!!! So there!!"

Savannah saw Elanna and said to her :" Are you the cub of Vitani so I am the cub of Sarafina
Nala 's mum ." She told her in a smile and nodded to Flash beacuse she was right .

"Hey! Don't talk to Flash like that, you liar!" Elanna shot back, padding beside Flash "Upendi is your sister! She tried to bring me to your mother so she could kill me!"
Elanna's sapphire eyes blazed with anger, he had to be lying. All villains were liars right? They lied, they murdered and they tore families apart. Swafi was Queen Kiara's son so why should he be any different? After all, how could he not know who Upendi was?

"You're the only one not making sense!" Flash retorted, voice not exactly angry, but far from being calm either. "Upendi is the queen's oldest daughter, so you must know her." Eyes narrowed a little. "Unless you're not really Kiara's son and are just trying to scare us."

Chi-Ann's eyes fluttered wildly between the conversations going on. She was a little scared about everything that was going on, but she was excited nonetheless. Seeing how the fight between the deer had come to a pause, she focused on the lions and the puppy. How interesting! Chi-Ann got up and tried to jump to another branch.
Unfortunately for her, she didn't calculate her jump well enough. She landed belly on the branch, paws grappling furiously at the large tree limb. Her tail swung back and forth like a pendulum, probably above or in one of the lions' faces. For all she knew, she couldn't tell.
Chi struggled to get up, ears flicking back and forth.
