(Day 1. Open to all but be realistic. If your character lives in the forest it will make more sense.) Chinook trotted through the woods and lowered his head, looking for someone. ANYONE! He'd been on this island for a few days and was starting to get worried he'd never see anyone. His ears twitched wondering where his mother and father were. Wondering where Pascal was. He missed his brother with all of his might. "Hello?!" He cried out, not caring about predators, "Anyone out there!!! "

The young fox kit poked his head through a bush, shaking his head after a moment to get leaves out of his fur. So he wasn't the only one on the island? Marcus couldn't be happier about this prospect. Maybe this deer could be a traveling companion. Marcus leaped out of the bush and padded toward Chinook, usual perky grin gracing his fluffy face. "Well, I'm here if that's any consolation." Marcus stated.

"Huh? Wha? A fox?" Lowering his head and pouncing back and forth in his father's fashion, Chinook tried to appear threatening.
"Grrrr, who are you?!"

Meanwhile, Geno had wandered around aimlessly, searching for his family. After calling their names for about a hour or so, fawn dropped to the ground. He gave a defeated sigh. "I wish I knew where I was." he mumbled aloud, somewhat comforted by his own voice. Geno yawned rather loudly and was about to drift off into sleep. Maybe this is all a bad dream. If I go to sleep, I might wake up back at home. It was worth a try.
Shouting interrupted his attempt. "Oh no..." Geno moaned, once he recognized that voice. It's Chinook! The fawn suddenly felt uneasy and quickly got up to his hooves. I got to find a place to hide! Encountering Chinook would be bad, since neither of their parents were around to pull them apart. And Geno did not want to fight. Not in this place.
He quickly jumped into nearby bush.

Marcus tilted his head to the side slightly, more confused than startled by Chinook's attempt at being intimidating. "The name's Marcus." he said proudly, puffing out his chest and grinning a little as he did. "What about you, kid? What's your name?" Marcus asked. His ears flicked just a little, picking up the sound of someone else in a nearby bush. The kit was curious, but first he wanted to find out Chinook's name before investigating the bush further.

He heard the rustle but was too preoccupied with the fox to pay attention. He raised his head to the air haughtily.
"Name's Chinook!" He said with a grin, "And these are the boys!" He showed off his horns for the fox. "What're you doin' out here all alone little fox?"

"Well, it started as an adventure away from home. I found my way out of the forest where my family lives and somehow wound up here." Marcus explained, shrugging a little as he did. "But, that's okay. It's all one big adventure as far as I'm concerned, and it just means I'll get a chance to prove how good I am." he stated as he sat down before Chinook, letting his fluffy tail wrap around his body as he spoke. A bit cocky, yes, but what harm was there in boasting a little? "So... how did you end up here, Chinook?" Marcus asked.

Geno brushed a few leaves out of the way, and watched the scene before him, still hidden. It was Chinook alright, but who was he talking to? Looked like a fox. Geno remembered seeing one hunt rabbits in the distance when he was younger. But this one didn't look vicious at all. I guess there are some good foxes and bad foxes. Just like good deer and bad deer.
Speaking of bad deer, Geno rolled his eyes when Chinook introduced 'the boys'. Still, Geno couldn't help but feel a little jealous. I think I'll name my antlers too. If he ever got them.
Maybe I can sneak away without them noticing. It was worth a try. Geno gulped and jumped about of the bush as fast as he can. Unfortunately, he tripped over a tree branch and stumbled. Finally, he rolled out into the view of both Chinook and the fox.
"Great..." he muttered.

Chinook couldn't help but grin. The fox seemed cool. Which was good enough for Chinook at this point.
"Well...I..." He stopped when he saw Geno roll out of the bush. His eyes narrowed. "YOU!" Back to bouncing back and forth, the fawn growled again. "Geno! What are you doing here?"

"Huh?" Marcus couldn't help but quickly look around for who had created such a disturbance. Well, it wasn't a massive disturbance but big enough for the kit to take notice. Soon, his eyes fell on Geno. Another deer? Maybe there were more forest animals on the island than he originally thought. Marcus got to his feet again and slowly approached Geno, tilting his head to the side again as he moved. "You okay, kid?" he asked. He knew deer were usually timid creatures, at least that was how the deer in his forest had been, so he wasn't quite sure how Geno would react. Still, the young buck appeared nice enough. A bit clumsy, perhaps, but other than that he didn't appear too bad.

"I could ask you the same." Geno retorted, getting up to his feet. If he was going to get lost, why did it have to be with Chinook? He would have settled for Friend Owl over him! And that was saying something, since the owl's 'words of wisdom' irritated the young fawn. And it didn't help that Friend Owl was a bit of a stalker.
He glanced at the fox-Marcus. "I'm alright." the deer assured. "I just tripped, that's all." Geno shook his fur and a few dead leaves fell to the ground. "My names' Geno." he introduced himself. Well, Marcus did seem friendly, unlike the older fawn behind him.

"Well, that's good. That you're all right, I mean." Marcus said, relieved that Geno seemed to be okay. He didn't quite know what the deal between Geno and Chinook was, but there seemed to be a bit of tension between the two deer. It didn't take an owl to tell you that much. "And it's nice to meet you. I'm Marcus." he greeted. Marcus' gaze shifted between Geno and Chinook after a moment, curiosity growing to be too much. "So... you and Chinook know each other?" he asked.

"Pssh. I wish we didn't." Chinook growled. "His dad's the fake prince of the forrest!" Chinook stuck his tongue out at the other fawn.
"Little baby doesn't even have his horns!" Chinook continued to tease.

"Nice to meet you, Marcus." Geno said. He frowned in response to Marcus's last question. "Yeah, I guess I do-"
Geno turned and glared at Chinook. "Great Prince of the forest." The fawn did not sound as confident as he wanted. Whenever he was around Chinook, his self-esteem was absent. He wanted to appear brave and fearless, but in reality, Chinook kind of scared him.
Chinook's last comment stung. "Um..I will get my horns! You'll see! I bet they'll be even bigger than yours!" Geno shouted to the other.

"You mean LAME Prince don'tcha?" Chinook grinned, holding his head high. "I betcha can't even grow horns!" He scraped at the ground, lowering his head in a threatening manner.
"Wanna show this fox how to spar, Ginny?" He scoffed.
