"it isn't magic, it's a gift that certain people have. No magic is involved. You soundlike uncle Sokka." She said laughing slightly before watching the flame. "So you're a firebender?" She asked. Also confusing bending with magic. "Well, where I come from only one person in the world has the ability to control all of the elements, and that would be my dad, Avatar Aang." She said, already missing her father. "But nope, I can only control water. And my mom was teaching me to bloodbend too, but she sayd that's only for really bad situations when there's no other way out." She said. her mom never stopped stressing how important it was that she never use it unless the situation was dire. She was the only one of her waterbending siblings that her mom taught the technique to. Kaiana was mad about that little fact but Katara felt that Kaya was old enough and the others weren't. "No, I'm not a fire-bender, I'm a sorcerer!" Sef explained. "My mother is a witch and I never knew my father. Your dad sounds pretty cool though. He can control all the elements? Only the most experienced sorcerers could master such a feat. You're lucky." Sef hoped that one day he could master every single one of the spells in his mother's library. No one would dare tell him what to do anymore! "And what's blood-bending? It sounds cool."

"Okay, okay." She said with a roll of her eyes. "I've never heard of those though. Where I come from you either have the gift to control a element or you don't" She said thoughtfully. "Your moms a witch?" She asked in surprise. Her mother told her that she had encountered a woman who was witch-like when she was younger. She was the one who taught her mom to bloodbend, much to her mothers horror. "Bloodbending is when you control the wayer in peoples body, their blood. In other words I could make anybody here my little puppet. But I wouldn't do that. To use it without a good reason is evil." She said remembering what her mother had told her right before she was taught the technique

Lien's head was pounding. The last thing she remembered was a flash of White light and then she was lying on the ground in an alley in a place she had never seen before. Perhaps she was in Ba Sing Se...or maybe Omashu, she had need been to the two great Earth Kingdom cities...she wanted to reassure herself that she could easily find her way home again.
Her purple tunic was covered in dirt and ripped slightly, her water pouch had uncorked and the water inside lay in a huge puddle and her arms were scraped from when she had fallen into this new place but other than that she was fine. Lien straightened up, brushed as much dirt off herself as possible and fixed her hair back into her usual top-knot with her silver fire crown before stepping out into the street.
Her eyes scanned the area before her blue eyes spotted blue amongst the people. Two girls, around her own age, talking to a boy who looked like he could be Earth Kingdom...or possibly Fire Nation. Without thinking, she approached the group. One of them was definately Water Tribe, she was half Water Tribe so at least she could get in contact with her parents.
"Hello." she called.

Kaya turned her attention to the new girl before looking her up and down. She looked like someone from home, at least more so than these people. Kaya REALLY hoped that this girl- whoever she was- could be her ticket home to her family. "Hi," She said with a smile. "I'm Kaya." It seemed more and more people were showing up, but how they all got here, she didn't know. Heck, she didn't even know how she got here. But she was determined to find out, and when Kaya was determined to do something she often ended up succeeding. She would have asked the girl, who looked to be water tribe, though the firenation headpeice on her head denied that, but she didn't want to seem like some weirdo.

Lien smiled, the girl looked Water Tribe, hope that she would be able to contact her parents was increasing by the second. She smiled at the other girl, Kaya, and introduced herself
"I'm Princess Lien...of the Fire Nation. Pleased to meet you." her eyes swept the rest of the group before they went back to Kaya...then she noticed something. An engagement necklace...a spookily familiar engagement necklace that Kaya was wearing. She could just be mistaken. Her hand flew up to her throat and touched the blue stone of her grandmother's engagement necklace, she must be imagining it.
"Um...D-Do you know where exactly we are? Ba Sing Se...Omashu...?" she asked, trying to cover up her stunned expression.

"No, I'm afraid not, I've been to both of those places on trips with my dad, and they look nothing like this. In fact I don't even know how I got h-" She paused, thinking she must have misheard the girl. Uncle Zuko and Mai only had one daughter (well, one living daughter that is.) and Lien looked nothing like Ursa. For starters, Ursa dressed in mainly reds and blacks, like her mother and had golden eyes, not the light blue color this girl had that, now that she saw them up close, looked like they mirrored her own. "Did you just say you're the princess of the fire nation...?" She asked. Before she had the chance to react to her claim, she spotted what looked to be a necklace on her neck, though she couldn't really make it out because the girls hand was covering it. She raised an eyebrow in confusion, wondering just what was going on here.

Lien nodded "Yeah. My father is Fire Lord Zuko and my older brother, Sozu, is going to be Fire Lord after him." she replied sounding slightly confused "Why? Didn't you know that? The Water Tribes and the Fire Nation are supposed to be very well connected..."
Lien was getting a bit worried. Was there something wrong? This girl was definately Water Tribe but had never heard of her and seemed confused when she stated she was Fire Nation royalty. The Water Tribes were the first to know of Sozu and her own births, after all, her mother was Water Tribe.

"Who..?" She asked, very confused when she heard Sozu's name. "No, no, no, my family is very well conected with the fire nation royal family, the whole world really, and Uncle Zuko's children are Ursa, Zhien and Kuzon. If he had two others I surely would have know." She said, trying to make sense of the current situation. The girl didn't appear to be lying. But then agan, she could just be like Azula and be very well trained in that area. Or maybe she was just crazy? She certainly looked sane... but what then what could it be? "And I know I'm not mistaken." She said in her usual stuboorn mannor. "As the daughter of the Avatar, I need to know these things."

"You're Gyatso and Tenzin's sister?" Lien asked "I didn't know Aunt Toph and Uncle Aang had another kid...You don't look very like Aunt Toph."
Lien was getting more confused by the second. If Uncle Aang had another child then the whole world would know about it! He was the Avatar for crying out loud! Yet the only children he and Aunt Toph had were an airbender named Tenzin and an 'earthbender' named Gyatso. Plus Kaya looked nothing like Aunt Toph and had blue eyes...not grey or green...blue eyes that seemed a lot like her mother's and her own.

"My older brothers name is Tenzin... but I don't have a brother named Gyatso. My other brother's name is Koda, he's a waterbender like me..." She said cautiously. "Well, you don't look much like Fire Lady Mai eith- Did you just say Aunt TOPH?" She asked incredulously. "My mother is Lady katara of the Southern Water Tribe."
This place was getting crazier by the second. What in the spirits name was going on here? This girl claimed to be Uncle Zuko's daughter that she had magically never heard of and looked absolutely nothing like Zuko or Mai, save for the pale skin and black hair. "Okay, what is going on here?" She asked to nobody in particular.

Lien looked stunned "Who's Koda? What do you mean Aunt Toph? She's Uncle Aang's wife! You know, Earthbending Master, Metalbender, can hand everyone their behinds without breaking a--" Then Kaya's words sunk in "I'm not Mai's daughter! My mother is Fire Lady Katara! I have no idea what you are talking about!"
Lien was getting more and more confused, and scared although she wouldn't admit it, by the second. Why did this girl think she was Lady Mai's daughter? She had only met the woman a handful of times and she was in no way related to her! She also seemed to think that Uncle Aang was married to someone other than Aunt Toph, like that was going to happen!

"Koda is my little brother! Tenzin, Koda, Kaianna, Shya, Aisha, Kita, they're ALL my siblings! And we're all the children of Aang and Katara. NOT Aang and Toph." She saiod cringing slightly at the thought of her father being with anybody else other than her mother. "And I know who she is!" She asnapped irritably. "She's my Aunt, not my mother. And your mother can't be Katara because she's my mom! And I'm certainly not related to you. I think I'd know if I had ANOTHER sister! Plus, mom would never be with anybody else other than dad. It's not possible." She said, once again holding her mother up on a pedestal. She shook her head in confusion. What was going one? First this place brought her to some weird abandoned island, next someoe was showing up claiming to be her mothers daughter! "One of us has to be insane or lying, and it is NOT me."

Veronica listened to the two squabble for a moment. She groaned as she walked over. "Okay, I know what's going on. You two must obviously just know people with the same names. I know it sounds weird, but it's like that dumb show. Oh, what is it called?" She rubbed the back of her head. "The Twilight Zone or something like that?"

"I'm not lying!" Lien snapped "My mother is Fire Lady Katara! Uncle Aang is married to Aunt Toph and they have two kids called Tenzin and Gyatso and both of them are pains in the neck! My mother is not married to Uncle Aang! That's wrong and she loves my dad! Fire Lord Zuko!"
Lien's confusion and fear turned to rage. How dare this girl suggest that her mother had children with Uncle Aang! Her parenst loved each other, they did fight but that wasn't very often and they always made up again, and they loved Sozu and herself!
"If I'm lying then why do I have this!" Lien removed her hand from her grandmother's necklace so Kaya could get a clear view of it "My mother gave this to me! It was my grandmother's and it was my great-grandmother's before that! Master Pakiu carved it for her but she ran away to the South Pole!"

"Well I'm certainly not lying. My mother loves Uncle Aang NOT uncle Zuko. That's just wrong on SO many levels! My mom would never betray my dad like that! Especially not for the Firelord, he's married for pete's sake! Kaya too was becoming angry, and a bit insulted, that this girl would suggest that her mother would be with anybody else but her dad. Her parents never faught. Okay, on a few occasions they would argue over Oza, or the fact that he puts his life at risk with his avatar duties. But you'd never get Kaya to admit that to Lien. Plus even if her parents did fall out of love, and they never WOULD, they would try to work it out for the sake of Kaya and her siblings, right? She was about to respond to the blond, and ask what 'The Twilight Zone' was, when Lien showed her the necklace. Her blue eyes went wide as her hand flew to her own necklace. "That's... that's my necklace..." She said quietly. "Where did you get that?" She asked, her voice much calmer this time. She held her own necklace tightly before removing it to give Lein a closer look. Their necklaces were identical.
